Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SahulatKar's website and financing platform. By creating an account, joining our waitlist, or using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use our platform.

SahulatKar operates a vendor agnostic, Shariah compliant Buy Now, Pay Later platform in Pakistan. We are in the process of completing our Non Banking Finance Company (NBFC) licensing, either directly or through a licensed NBFC partner, and of integrating with NADRA for identity verification. The financing services described in these Terms will go live once that licensing is complete. Until then, this platform operates in pre launch mode for waitlist registration, product browsing, and pre booking only.

• "Wakalah" means the agency agreement under which you appoint SahulatKar as your agent, or Wakeel, to purchase a specific item on your behalf.
• "Murabaha" means the cost plus profit sale agreement under which SahulatKar sells you that item at a disclosed price, repayable on the installment schedule shown at signing.
• "Merchant" means the third party website or seller whose product page you link to when requesting financing.
• "Order" means a specific request to finance a specific product from a Merchant.
• "Down payment" means the initial payment collected from you before your purchasing agent completes checkout with the Merchant.
• "Installment" means each scheduled repayment due under your Murabaha agreement.
• "Credit limit" means the maximum outstanding financing SahulatKar is willing to extend to you at any given time.

To use SahulatKar's financing services, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid, unexpired Pakistani CNIC, and be a resident of Pakistan with a Pakistani delivery address. Each person may hold only one SahulatKar account.

You agree to provide true, accurate, and current identity information during onboarding, to keep your login credentials and one time passcodes confidential, to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account, and to make installment payments on the schedule shown to you at signing. Providing false identity information, or attempting to open more than one account, is grounds for immediate suspension and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

When you paste a product link, SahulatKar assesses your eligibility and, once approved, presents a financing offer with the cost price and profit margin disclosed in full before you commit to anything. If you accept, you sign two contracts by one time passcode: a Wakalah agreement appointing SahulatKar as your agent to purchase the item, and a Murabaha agreement under which SahulatKar sells you that item at the disclosed cost plus profit price, repayable on the installment schedule shown at signing. Once both contracts are signed, that price is fixed and cannot increase.

SahulatKar is not the manufacturer or original seller of the products you finance. Product descriptions, pricing, availability, and quality are the responsibility of the Merchant whose page you linked. SahulatKar's role is to purchase that specific item as your agent and resell it to you under the Murabaha contract.

SahulatKar's automated purchasing agent completes checkout on the Merchant's own website on your behalf, under the authority you grant in your Wakalah agreement. Because prices and stock on third party sites can change between your offer and the moment of purchase, your Wakalah agreement authorizes a limited price variance tolerance, disclosed to you at signing. If the price moves beyond that tolerance, or the item becomes unavailable, we will not complete the purchase without your renewed consent, and any down payment already collected is refunded under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

SahulatKar does not charge interest. Our only compensation is the disclosed profit margin built into the Murabaha price you agree to at signing, which does not change once your contracts are signed. Where a late fee applies under section 10, it is disclosed in your Murabaha contract in advance and is never applied without notice.

Down payments and installments may be paid using the payment methods made available in the app at the time, which may include JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast, and debit or credit card through our payment processor. You authorize us to send payment reminders by SMS, WhatsApp, or push notification ahead of each due date.

A late fee may apply to a missed installment, calculated per the schedule disclosed in your Murabaha contract. SahulatKar does not retain any portion of a late fee. All of it is donated to charity. A missed payment may also pause growth of your credit limit and, if it continues, may lead to collections activity or legal recovery, always preceded by written notice as required under your contract.

Your initial credit limit is set at approval and may be conservatively capped on your first order. It can grow over time based on a track record of on time repayment. SahulatKar does not guarantee any specific credit limit, and limits remain subject to periodic review and adjustment based on your repayment history and our risk policies.

You may cancel an order free of charge, with no financial impact, at any point before your down payment is collected. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy module, in the sidebar to the left, sets out what happens at every later stage, including after contracts are signed or after the item has been purchased.

You agree not to use SahulatKar to finance any prohibited category of goods, including but not limited to alcohol, gambling related products, tobacco, weapons, or any other Shariah prohibited or illegal item, to provide false or misleading information, to attempt to defraud SahulatKar or a Merchant, or to interfere with the platform's normal operation. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

SahulatKar is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or fitness of products sold by third party Merchants. Those matters are governed by the Merchant's own return, warranty, and consumer protection obligations. If an order arrives damaged, wrong, or undelivered, raise it through Support as soon as possible so we can investigate with the Merchant before your next installment is due.

The SahulatKar name, logo, and platform design are the property of SahulatKar and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property rights to you or to any Merchant.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SahulatKar is not liable for delays or failures caused by a third party Merchant's website, payment gateway, courier, or NADRA or verification service outages beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Pakistani law.

You agree to indemnify and hold SahulatKar harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your provision of false or misleading information, to the extent permitted under Pakistani law.

We may suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, or posed a fraud or credit risk, and we will notify you of the reason where legally permitted. You may close your account at any time, provided you have no outstanding installments due.

If you are unhappy with our service, contact Support first. We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and to resolve or escalate it within 7 business days. A complaint that concerns Shariah compliance specifically is routed to our compliance function for direct review. Unresolved regulatory complaints may also be raised with the SECP through its established consumer complaint channels.

We may update these Terms as our services, licensing status, or regulatory obligations change. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you through the app or by SMS or email before they take effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute not resolved through our complaints process in section 19 is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These Terms, together with your Wakalah and Murabaha agreements, form the entire agreement between you and SahulatKar regarding your use of the platform, and replace any earlier understanding on the same subject.
